My parents got this cat and then called me to ask what she should be name. They gave me two choices, Kia and some other lame name. Kia is what I would have been named if I was born with a second X chromosome...
So yeah, here she is!
I think she was a little grumpy that I interrupted her nap...
What is it with lasers that drives cats nuts?
She even knows what a recliner is for... Reclining :O)

Visual: Flaming Goodness!
Wednesday, July 06, 2005I promised you pictures, so here's some fireworks!
All of these were taken at Rhythm and Booms 2005 in Madison, WI.
The show rocks, the sky is constantly full of fireworks, with usually 3-5 going off at a time and all of it is choreographed to music. This year they had live music with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, so imagine orchestra music playing ;O)

Oh, and there's the stage where the orchestra was playing and a big vid-screen for people to see them.

Here's the finale bit by bit, imagine 105mm Howitzers firing here and there as these are going off as well...
