Visual: Slacker Week - NewYorkness
Thursday, October 20, 2005So, as promised, here are some of the pictures I took while I was in New York. I only managed to stay for an extended week, next time I'll stay longer and actually go out, have fun and let FINY get me drunk.
I'm a fan of skyscrapers so I always love seeing the cities from a distance. I love the big beautiful buildings rising in the distance.
The world famous Times Square area during the day:
And here's the way it SHOULD be seen:
Gotta love Central Park, but no way you're getting a night picture of that! :O)
A little Radio City Music Hall action. Fogginess is fun sometimes.
One of the most beautiful ladies in the States, even though she is French:
I'm glad I didn't get a bowlingball or a watermelon dropped on me!
Inside the Empire State Building:
Go skaters go!
And now for the best pictures, all of which happened to come from the same place: Rockefeller Center
Atlas:
The Main Foyer:
And for probably THE best picture I have ever taken, Rockefeller Center at night:

Not only am I going to get you drunk, I'm going to show you the REAL city. Every single one of those places you took pics of I avoid like the plague. Well except for Rock Center. I used to work two blocks from there.
Great pics though, love the last one. - At 2:30 PM, Chief Slacker said...

Carrie - Hell, I was only there for like 4 days and I wanna go back ;O) Yeah definitely take some pictures! Feel free to bring me as well!
Chef Bouillon - Yeah I think so, thanks!!
FINY - Yeah see, first problem I was only there for 4 days, second I was with Conservative Girl. I tried to get her in a bar one of the nights and that didn't work well. The pics were of stuff I wanted to see once, now it's time for the good stuff ;O)
